Blossom Jean Henry (Jean) was born in the Parish of St. Ann; growing up with her six siblings and her parents in the district of Green Hill. Her exemplary life made a positive impact on her family members, neighbours, friends and co-workers, some of whom chose to become Christians as a result of her influence.

It was in her youth, while residing in Green Hill, that Sister Jean was converted to Christianity, having received the New Birth experience of baptism in Jesus’ name and the infilling of the Holy Ghost at Mount Beulah Apostolic Church.  She later received membership at Pentecostal Tabernacle when she relocated to Kingston.  She was a very dedicated member of the assembly and participated in various areas of ministry.

Sister Jean was a kind, caring, loving and friendly person who was well loved. She did not only mentor others but also mothered her younger brother who resided with her. She was an encourager and was known to seek out those in need and to personally provide support or assist them in seeking the support that she could not herself provide.

Blossom Jean Henry is one whose living has certainly not been in vain.  She has left behind a great legacy of precious memories and kind deeds. Her soul is now at peace and sweet rest in the arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!
